Fuel Burn Rate.
« on: May 10, 2002, 02:41:04 AM »
Why all AH plane same fuel burn rate?
more difference is required.
need more severe.
I think that it is important.
I think that game play balance is decided.
pilot's work is not only shooting down.
It is amusing that a match is decided by the player number.
toooooo many easy plane dweeb player killer pilot in MA.

I think ,
If the Fuel Burn Rate more severe then Reduce PK deweeb pilot.

request fix rate plz.

Hi Zeke :)

I did quite a few tests of fuel burn rates and there is large variation between different types of aircraft.  Some planes can only fly 45 minutes, others can fly for hours.  And the differences are made even more strong by the fuel burn rate multiplier, which makes all airplanes in the MA burn fuel about twice as fast as in real life.

Hi all, thanks  report & response :)

well..
>in the MA burn fuel about twice as fast as in real life.

I didn't know that. lol
However, Map/Player density is still high and I feel that there is no mach rate. I think...I Feel...
If the increase F/B rate of specific fighter plane(without perk plane), such as spit and N1K.
way to good The game play stress and Deviation use of fighter plane.

In WW2,War Time's WarField any world of fuel quality,
we can't Know that.
so,HTC should more use adjstment MA Fuel Burn to gameplay Balance.

It is more realistic rather than it prepares a map.
Of course, I think that preparation of more difference F/B rate and ENG Mixture is also required.

I wish F/B rate times3.5, spit and N1K.
Want No Stress Game Play the Commbat Fight Sim.:D

I think he means that fuel burn does not reflect the limitations aircaft had in the war.

Like, 109 and spits barely had the range to get to/from UK to the middle of france, no further. Yet in AH a spit can fly like 8 sectors (1-way), which is more than enough to let it fly over the frontmost enemy field, the field behind it, and the field behind that one. In short, it allows it to fly over most of the enemy territory.

If the planeset had more limited fuel based on the size of the map and the spacing between fields, then it'd be more accurately portrayed.

I think that's what he's saying.
