BOB RAF DAR (acronyms galore!)
« on: May 10, 2002, 10:51:06 AM »
;)

radar settings for the RAF will be changed for tonight from what is in the SEA right now.

new settings will be:
Dot Dar = 10 miles from bases
Bar Dar = 20 miles from bases

This is so the coast of England has enough "spotters".  There were some big holes in the coast with 5 mi dot dar.  As for the 10 miles out over the channel, just pretend they have really good field glasses!  ;)   The 20 mile bar dar will just extend over Calais, but shouldn't cover other parts of France.

I would go to the Events HQ and e-mail all the C.O.'s nif so they are aware of this. :)
