Carrier Air Group 15
« on: May 11, 2002, 12:35:14 AM »
United States Navy Carrier Air Group 15 has opened for business.

In tribute to CAG David McCampbell and his men and indeed all the men onboard the USS Essex, CAG 15 will eventually focus on three aircraft: F6F, TBM and SBDs, SB2Cs when they arrive.

All action will originate from Carrier Ops when CVs are avaliable.

All aircraft in the game and other vehicles will be operated for fun and proficiency as the need arises.  Special mention goes to the F4U series and the F4F series, these aircraft will be freely utilized to further pay homage and increase the fun factor.

Above all else, AcesHigh is a game.  One that offers a truly unique opportunity for people to express their deepest gratitude while having an absolute blast in the process.

The squad will do two things primarily: Honor the heroism and sacrifice of the navy and auxiliary men from CAG 15 and USS Essex and have fun as a result.

Just tap me online if your interested.  This is a embryonic start for a new squad and all help, especially Web Design, will be utilized with utmost recognition.

Sinc.

Something was wrong in the arena last night we had you signed, and on the roster. However you were not coming through on the squad radio, or text buffer.

Hmm, well actually thinking about it you are right .. me and my boys do run lots of fighters sweeps, jabo attacks, etc. on Knight airfields. So I guess you are right, that is where you will find all the good VMF squads flying one way or another. :D

Hmm, Ghost, I didn't take any offense, Rip said all the "Good" VMF Squads, not the "Great" ones ;).  LOL, you know I'm just fooling around Rip, the Deathrattlers are one of the Greatest Squads in the game!

Cya Up!

Ripsnort, I would like to get VF-27 in the MA , but being a CT squad we have members that belong to other squads in MA. Kinda makes it tough for us there. If we can ever break away from CT we'll look you guys up.

====
Pride in the sacrifice of my countrymen exists independantly from the fun I have in the combat simulation of AcesHigh yet that pride is not mutually exclusive from the fun which is derived whilst playing the game.

Therefor, as I play the game I am reminded of the honor I hold in my own mind of those sacrifices.

Hope that helps.

LMAO... heh... well. Squids and jarheads, same old story. While they are busy arguing about who's better or who gets what credit, the ARMY goes in and gets the job done! :p. Sorry, my family has always been army, got a general in the family even, so I had to toss that in there! And yes, I'm flying a naval squad in here, I know.
