Just installed my new computer desk...

I'm pretty pleased with it.  The wife is a tad bit pissed though... mainly because I built it a day after having abdominal surgery. ;)

Its mostly particleboard... but the cuts are very precise and I'm quite pleased.  The rudder pedals need a bit more work before I install them... then its back to the skies.

BTW... I got that Cougar a day before you SOB.  You are such a lamer.

Nice setup, you filthy bastard.  You need a new skid for that RCS?

BTW...what did they need to surgically remove from your rectum this time?

250 lbs of canine fury enhabbit my household.  The new carpet is on hold until two of them die (should be about 2 years).  You should see the couch;)

And SOB... you gave me the wacked rudder pedals that don't have skids.  They have some kind of funky pivot setup that I need to get some bolts for.  Maybe next time you're in Portand... ;)

BTW... The collection at McMinville has gone up to 41 planes.  We really should hit that some time.... forget the Seattle bastages with all the excuses.

No, it doesn't.  Not right to do that since it gives an unfair advantage to folks with just one monitor. :)

However, if the radio bar, message que, and vox box could go on another monitor though.  I think that's pretty reasonable... and it would be excellent.

Well, toejamty rudders and Cougar don't mix.  I'll swap you with a working pair and strip yours for parts!

I'm good for the museum any time but this Thurs-Sun.  They're open from ?? to 5pm every day (I drive by the damned thing drueling twice a week on my way to class in McMinville :)).  How about May 25?

I'll block out May 25th on the calendar.

When do you want to swap rudder pedals?  I can make a trip this weekend if you're ok with that.

Ah... missed this charming little tidbit from the first post.  The stick is still there... thankyou for asking though.

It was a hernia operation.  I have a freshly shaved area around my bellybutton.  I'm gonna tell everyone that the scar is from a knife fight.

LOL, "you shoulda seen the other guy!".  I'm not old enough to know yet...why would one need a hernia operation?

I'm headed down to CA this weekend to a pinball show, so that's out.  I will be driving up to Portland on Thurs to visit my sister tho' if you wanted to meet in Beaverton for an early lunch.  Say 11:30 at Wu's Open Kitchen (it's on Scholl's Ferry Rd. right next to Howard's Grocery).  If that's good let me know...any excuse to eat at Wu's!  Or we can just swap 'em at the museum.

I can meet you Thursday at Wu's... 11:30.  It gives me a great excuse to take an extended lunch;)

As for why someone would need a hernia operation... I suppose its because they had a hernia.  How I got a hernia... I really have no idea.  It never even hurt.  I just looked in the mirror and saw that my view of my bellybutton was blocked.  That simply would not do.

If you were lifting that huge photo copier, printer, scanner combo that might have done it....
