13th TAS
« on: April 23, 2001, 02:26:00 PM »
All,

I am posting to announce the passing of a squad in AH. As of today the 13th TAS is off the game. The members of TAS have split into separate squads and will continue to play with skill and determination. They look forward to seeing your six on their twelve at any time of the day.

I have struck the colors and will fly under a different banner when I can. You may hear from time to time the battle cry "SHOWTIME" as TAS never really leaves your system until the last flight West.

<SALUTE>

They will be missed. Always could count on them for good battles, good sportsmanship, and good fun.

The spirit of the 13th TAS will live on.

Grommit (AKA Yeager) has formed the **1st Combat Group** and has already signed Beemer, RWY and Sax

I have formed the 412th FG "Nightmare Mustangs" and have signed Pugg666, Vruth and 7SinS.

You will still see Mustangs in the skies

13th TAS was a good squad, and the **MOL** send a salute.

Good luck in whatever new squads you all move into.

Voss is flying under another handle. I don't know what it is. If he wants to drop the anonymous feature he will.

S! to the 13th!

Sorry to see such a skillful squad disband.  There were a few in there from my old sister squad from WB the 901st.

Big huge S! from the 900th!

Very sorry to see the 13th go as well. I was 13th TAS in AW DOS, WBs and here in beta. This is a very old Squad spanning 12 years and 3 sims, sad to see its gone.

Good luck to you guys in your respective Squads.

JG2 always had great melees with the 13th TAS.

<S> to the 13th and all of it's past members!

Now that the skies are alittle safer, I guess I should re-up!

When a squad has a history like this one it sure is sad day to see it fading away.

Yep, it really is bad. Why does it seem that all the great squads self destruct over time?

Why did voss change his handle?
