In reading the various complaints and complaints about complaints ad infintum, I can't help but observe that I haven't found a bad ride (bad ride = no fun.)  Every single plane in the stable of HTC has redeeming features and I enjoy all of them.  So there, ffffttttttt! :D

You gotta be kidding me.  TBM is a lot of fun in low level CV respawn dweeb mode.  Bomb some hangars, rocket some acks, get a rocket vulch or two, furball with some dweebs, get a kill or two, then when the forward ammo is gone, head for home and man the tail guns for an extra kill or two.  :)

Yep.  There's not a plane in the current set that can't get kills in the MA (granted c47 is pretty hard, but are you a manly man or not?)

Yeah, but Bush wouldn't be the right pilot to talk about the suvivability of the TBM.

TBM is great for finishing off bases and downing SBs or gvs preventing lvts from landing. it's also good for long range missions off the cv to kill field ack/fuel/barracks etc. sometimes even killing fhs and vhs it has that capability plus bombsight to boot :)

I'm anxious to fly the Val. A dive bomber that turns like a Zeke! Now we can have fun even if the fighter hangers are wrecked. Of course, it'll probably take the entire ammo load to do any damage of consequence. But, what the heck, it'll be fun trying.

TBM rules!  I use it exclusively for CV-based attack missions.  It's got enough firepower to take out the vehicle hangar and enough forward firepower to obtain numerous kills, vulch or otherwise.  It dogfights surprisingly well.  I've held my own against Spits and Hurricanes in it before... and if they manage to manuever for a six shot, give 'em a face full of tailgunner lead.

Damn.  I didn't think of that.  That alone is more than enough justification for it being added.  :)

not, but I still managed to get kills in the C47 =)

haven't tried the TBM yet, I'm still working on my first place to learn, the P47-D30.

Flew the TBM for the first time in the CT last night.  What a blast!!  A 109 tried to HO me and got three rockets up the snozz.  I then vulched another plane with my remaining three rockets then shot down a 109 that couldnt shake me with my forward MG. Perk it!!

Bah, you guys don't know what you are talking about.  Why don't you quit kissing HTC's bellybutton and aknowlege that there really is only one decent plane in the set.  You know which one I am talking about - the F6F.  Sheesh, you guys are such brown nosers. *
