Flying for the knights the last month now I log in see we have 4 bases left no dar and bases being over run by vulching dweebafites.  It is actually kind of fun until Dar goes down.  Anyway, you may continue pummeling us with your clubs my Fur isn't white, more of a golden brown now.

I like to think of it as a crash-course in defensive skills.

You got only five months to go before you really understand it.

(How come when I logged on during the last month, Rooks were badly in the bucket 90% of the time if Knights were the ones in the bucket?  Don't get me wrong, 90% is better than the preceding months 100%)

Rooks were there for six months.

When I first joined, about last April or May, I was Knight then like I am now and can remember many times (seemed like always) being down to just a couple bases.  In fact, I think it spurred some new rule where you don't have to lose all bases but down to just maybe three?  Anyway, I've seen it before and I'm seeing it again and I'm good with it.  I guess it's come full circle.

Cheers

I heard from someone, sometime, somewhere,

"Don't think of it as being outnumbered; think of it as a target rich environment."

good luck.  If you continue fighting with the knights you have my respect!

I just joined AH in April and was automatically put into the field as a Bishop.  Can AH issue the Knights the lion's share of new recruits?  Will that make a difference or do the knight recruits tend to flee to the bishops or rooks?

Isn't it interesting that the vulchers are always on the other side?  When you're banging a base with club in hand, suddenly your the manly hunter and those poor baby seals are marauding great whites that must be wiped from the face of the earth!

Seriously, with regard to Packy's point, is it true that the default option on joining AH is bishop?  If so, why can't it be rotated?  That way you'll get a more equal distribution of those who have no particular preference until they join a squad or whatever.

I believe new players are placed at random Turbot. I was put in rookland when I first logged on 2 years ago.

If it is your destiny, you will be a Rook.   You are not placed in Rookland.
