Hey, my neighbor (he's a Oral surgeon) just picked up a nice Porsche 977, said he's gonna give me the keys to it if I detail it for him (little does he know about my secret little twisty road behind our house...:D )

Another thread Drippy can inject knows all BMW crap.

Here’s some.

2000 GTP (MSRP) $26,845 – or have a car dealer manager as a brother, $12k.

Mike made a good one-

The only thing better than being able to smoke the front tires at a whim on my GTP even leaving the computer traction control on, is watching the AH BBS and your every chance to mention your foolish foreign car purchase knowing it would just bury that beemer.

The reviews are clear-

Pontiac has taken a lot of unfair raps for limited refinement to its engineering. But this car doesn't pretend to be a BMW. The GTP is a very good effort: fast but not too fast, sporty but not too sporty, excellent handling within limits, great brakes. Despite some body gimmicks it's wonderfully sculpted and sleek yet it's roomy inside. You might think of it as a poor man's M3, but you'd probably be insulting its owners. They have their own identities, thank you

Yup, you don’t have to pay so much to pretend you are what you aren’t, including the task of consistent futile time online convincing a AH BBS crowd your Mr. Racer. With more horsepower and 25K in my pocket,… I am so completely amused.

I really dig that.

back to the point......

Yup, F1 racing does suck.  A race is an hour and a half of total boredom and toejame like ferrari pulled last week just make it a total farce anyway.

Apparently the booing from the stands was so loud it drowned out the engine sounds of the cars on the final lap.
