Well, the way I see it, what the common people of those countries believe or think is totally irrelevant, as their government system is basically dictatorial and the people are fed propaganda from one side only.
"The way to control a mentat is through false information. False information, false results" applies to this. Its not like in the US or allied nations, where their systems allow each citizen access to both sides of the story (perhaps not completely, but its there). You ever wonder why those arabs you saw on TV cheering the sept11 attacks in the streets..or those who radically supported saddam even after Iraq's defeat.. the list goes on and on... do that? Most probably because they were only fed information that led them to believe in what they were doing.
Countries like Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc, etc are like that. So I say, dont even bother what the people there think, what REALLY matters is what their "big brother" leaders do. The people there have no real say in the government or its policies, so dont bother with them. Go cut the head
