Alright HT, this is getting a bit rediculous.  Either take perks for a disco or put a hit on the K/D, but not both.  That's over kill

Lost 300pts and had my K/D shot down because my ISP had hiccups.

It's bad enough that we're all stuck with 1 death we didna recieve to avoid the divide by zero error (and why can't that be removed from the equation after we've had one death?)

Been thinking about this since I lost a 262 to a power outage. The gamers would have a field day if a disco was "free". Imagine you have your foes perk ride shot up, you come in for the coup and, poofters, he's discoed. He just saved his precious perkies and can now use them again and disco at an opportune time with impunity. Same can happen with his K/D.

If it's possible for the host to log in real time any damage taken before the disco and charge perks accordingly then it might not be a problem. As for K/D, gamers being the animal they are, would use alt F4 or somehow cause a disco to perserve that precious stat.

I don't know what the solution could be, it is frustrating to loose perks for a disco...even worse to loose them to a "honey do"

I don't have a problem getting hit for one or the other.  But not both, especially when my kite is undamaged (all 3 times I discoed).

To be honest, between the 2, I'd gladly shut up about my lost 100perks for discoes in a 262 if it would leave my K/D alone.  I'd rather lose points than have a disco count as anything in the K/D because it goes even farther to making K/D a worthless statistic.

Let'em alt+F4 all they want to.  That's recorded as a death/crash.  HT did that long, long, long ago cause people were hitting alt+f4 when they got thier tulips handed to'em.
