I know that you can drop more than 1 set of troops if some get shot down.
I would like to know how long you have to drop the remainder of the troops needed for them to count. I have asked around in the MA and haven't yet got an answer

I believe it is 30minutes before the timer on the map room resets to 0 troops have entered.

But it may have changed to 15minutes when the hangers were changed to 15min down time so long ago

Does that 30 minute rule count even if the city begins to rebuild? The other day (Baltic I think) we took a field AFTER the city had begun to rebuild, and for sure there were a couple of buildings standing. I didn't count the troops going in but I "think" some troops had arrived earlier. Anyway, it could be a bug.

Thats a very good point, because you will often see the town rebuilding within, 30 mins because of the convoys, that resupply it.

If the troops objective is to destroy the map room you have to think if the map room reups with the convoys or is just set on a time limit.

I think this would be a good queston to ask and will help with finding out the time period form first to last troop, and of course if it does reupp with the convoys the time period could be very large from destroying them.

The maproom "damage count" is independant of the town.

Drop the town, and just before the town starts to reup 8 troops go in. 20min after troop #8 went into the map room the town is flattened again. If troops are dropped in the next 10minutes only 2 are needed.

Way I understand it, troops going into the map room while town structures are up do not count towards the capture total. So if 3 troops go into the map room before the last structure is destroyed those 3 don't count, and you've got 7 of 10 into the map room and need another gooney bird.
