S!

Impressive shots indeed!Much betterlooking than the original terrain. And if we wouldn't be using icons, then the camo of the plane would mean something...

I love it!!!   It reminds me a little of the area around Mt Vesuvious and Napolii

I'd would really love to try this out.

I wonder why terrains like this arent used in the MA? Anybody know? I could think maybe Framerate but it cant be that much of a hit.
Very nice BTW.

Acid - it is because someone has yet to make an even 3country terrain.

When someone can accomplish that, then maybe we'll see something new in the MA

C'mon...you think HTC would use someone elses terrain as "Their" main arena?

Moose11,
What do you mean by 'even 3country terrain'? Are you talking about the balance of elevations and base positioning? That can be accomplished easily but I think HTC likes to alter things a little instead of 'cut&pasteX2' to make for an exact 3-way mirror, not very realistic BTW. I'm all for a little off here and there.

I think what I originaly meant to say in my earlier post was why not use textures like that?

Don't get me wrong, AH is a good game but I find the terrain textures to be somewhat lacking in realism where as the above pics are a leap in the right direction.
No flames for that please....I know, I don't fly to look at the ground, but it would be nice to up the emmersion factor wherever possible.
