Hi I was wondering why I was getting this message and if there was any way to fix it.. I am running XP but when i click on aces high it goes into it..then goes to desktop with that lovely error

Initialization Failed with -9
Main wld_failed -1

Any ideas?

Either you have a program that is utilizing your sound card. Or you just need to reinstall your sound card drivers.

Well, I checked that out and there are no programs running ... my sound is fine.. I can hear stuff. I just don't know why aces high gives me that error if my sound card works ...

Try reinstalling the sound drivers or Direct x. Aces high is having trouble utilizing the sound card.
