Bombers going down
« on: May 29, 2002, 12:09:50 PM »
Just a thought

If you're leading a bomber box, and your b17 loses a wing to enemy fire, then will the other forts follow you down?

When will you be jumped into the next b17? will bailing out do this?

:-) Just thoughts

You didn't read Pyro's post ... its all there.

"If the lead plane that you are flying is destroyed or you bail out, you will automatically be put in control of the next plane which will then become the lead plane. This process will continue until you are the last plane left from your original formation."

Better bail quick or the formation will follow you down :D  or will it disappear if the distance becomes more than 1000yards...
