I don't know my markings, but does anyone know what service SBD that is, when and where it flew? Or who flew it?

Didn't USN have a darker top blue color, so maybe this is USMC.

I'm really glad to see some early-war Pacific.

front cowling looks wrong on that sbd.

also the engine shouldnt be so visible... more recessed

I posted about the difference in "look" between some of the new planes as compared with that of the "new Zero". I asked if it was just a repaint of the existing Zero.

See if you can notice any "difference".
