That SBD sure looks nice.

Now, a Ki-43-IIb or a Ki-44-IIb and we're set for a 1942 Pac Theate environment.

(OK, so some other things would be nice too, say P-38F or G, G4M2 "Betty" and a B-25B)

Yagi radar.  The screen is located in the forward part of the observer's cockpit.  Used for anti-submarine detection, amongst other things.

Very nice job. I agree that the engine is probably a little far forward, but it's no biggie.  Just finished making two of the Accurate Miniatures kits of this--an SBD 3 from Midway, and an SBD 5 in RNZAF colours--it's one of my favorite planes and I'm delighted to see it included.  I cannot believe the amount of new stuff HTC have been working on. Which brings me to my point.  Is there any possibility in the future that when we get new planes introduced, we can get a couple in the livery of other nations?  Canada, etc.  I could have seen that P-40 as Australian, for example.  Perhaps when we get the Beaufighter it could be in fleet air arm markings.  Pull the TBM-3 and re-do it as an RNZAF plane. . . Just an idea!

The "new" Zero has the A6M2 cowling.  It is shorter, bulges more and lacks the exhaust stubs (which are 3D on the AH A6M5b).

Air to Surface Vessel (ASV) Radar

glad to oblige... now we have to wonder if it'll be implemented in game...

the paint job is kinda unfinished IMHO, tho'

Yeah looks real sweet.  Looking forward to this one.

However, the paint scheme has me wondering.  Ive never seen that particular contrast.  What squadron would she come from?

I doubt any divebombers will be included in 4 buff set.

Only level bombers will be

Are they gonna model the "ASV" Radar on it?? would be cool to be able to track ships, and would make the game a little more stratigic :)
