Pyro posted the following about the new Bomb Sight Calibration.

Most of the potential bomb targets in the current terrains are surrounded by land that is higher or lower in altitude than the target itself.
Calibrating off a ground object that is higher or lower than the target ground will (should) skew the calibration.
Example:  If I start my cal on a point that is 1,000 ft above Sea Level and then drop on a target that is at SL, my bombs will overshoot because their ground speed will be greater at the point of impact than the sight was at the point of calibration.

OK, so I'm thinking I'll just have to start and end my cal at the same ground level as the target.  Problem here is that there doesn't seem to be enough distance/time for such a thing in our current arenas.

Now unless you add an automatic terrain following formula, I don't see how we will be able to calibrate.

hmm...may have figured out where I was thinking wrong.

The sight is aimed forward after the calibration resulting in a triangular viewing situation.
The sides get longer, but the hypotenuse angle remains the same.

Right?
