Sorry to say I am not a Vet but from a family of many.

Grandfather WWII  USMC - 43-46 (guam to Oki to Occupation of China). Passed in 1998.  Turned down Purple Heart carrying his dead buddy ashore at Oki.

Old man - Army - dropped out of HS before second semester of Sophomore year and joined the Army 60-63.  "And almost volunteered to save a "smart kid" from dying, but didn't at the last minute.

I had all of my papers signed to go to Knox, and join Armored Cav.  But opted to go to college and had a recruiter that turned into a friend.

I play paintball with alot of vets.  Military jargon and it's lifestyle is second nature to me, I regret not joining.

I know you guys are probably wondering why in the hell I'm writing this! But, Here goes....six words.

Thank you for serving, thank you.

Another ammo troop:) I left that business recently. Being a 2W0 was good, but the deployments was unbearable.

That explains it...I tried to use the Ammo callsign when I joined up with AH. I used "AMMO" when I was with AWIII and AWIV. No luck, you had it already, LOL. Maybe I should have used IYAAYAS...

IYAAYAS is a term to express the fact that "If You Ain't Ammo, You Ain't S*%$" Insert a slang term for fecal matter here... This is to the benefit for all you clerks and cooks.
