US Army  1980-1992
Spent over 4 1/2 years of that was with  Dco 5/101 Avn Regt (old 158th Avn BN,was there when we changed to the regiament) 101st Airborne Divion  (Air Assult).
 Went to the Middle East twice with them. The second time was the Perion Gulf War. All I did during that was read books when we finally flew and setup on the boarder.

It was the "Misawa Cryptologic Operations Center" (or "Mmmm Cock" to you Airforce guys) while I was there. I thought the closest RSOC was in Hawaii, but I'm not sure of that.

Hey Drifter, what units were you in, we mighta bumped into each other sometime. I spent my aviation days in the 7/159th Aviation(Stuttgart Germany), Q troop, 4th Sqd, 2nd ACR (Desert Storm), 1/123rd Attack Helicopter Bat (Ft. Ord), and the 54th Med Co. (Air Ambulance, Ft. Lewis)

Spent the first 15 years of life as a dependant of flight crew USAF.

Dad (Charles F. Hall, Smsgt 1930-present) retired as a flight engineer C-141s with 62nd MAW, 8th Squadron out of McChord AFB, Wash.  He participated as a crewman in the POW Airlift out of Hanoi.

He was absent most of my youth so I payed some dues I guess.
