I really dont understand why we dont have a B25, I thought it was more widely used than the B26 so I thought it would make more sense to have that, and what with all the new pacific stuff you could fly them of carriers he he;)

One reasion we do not have it..everything that the B-25 does the B-26 does even better...at twice the payload.

Pluse were getting the A-20 Havoc which has the same payload as a B-25 and handles not like a flying brick that the B-25 is.

For sentimental puroposes it would be nice to have but I do not think HTC will make one any time soon.. we'd be better off asking for a B-24 or B-29!

Yeah a B29 with an a bomb at about 200 perks, sounds good.

Even at 10 perks means after the first week the b29 would be rarely seen. As to the A Bomb, perk that at 10 perks per everyone on winning side. And it would be an instant reset if dropped on a HQ.

Love to see the 24 in here, was the workhorse of the pacific in many respects.

Would also like the 25 but mostly out of sentimental reasons.

No historical scenario or TOD based in the Southwest Pacific would be complete without the B-25. Hopefully HTC will add it in due time. IMO, more important buffs to add first would be the TU-2, HE-111 and G4M.

You know it man.

Was very widly used in ALL theaters and is one of the mainstay AC of WW II. We definately need this one.

Same goes for the 25.Used very much more than the 26. Dont get me wrong, the 26 is a sweet ride. But the 25 H was a kick bellybutton AC (for its own purposes more so than the 26) in its own right.

If we ever get subs as HT has mentioned, the 24 was used very widely as a sub hunter.

Back in the glory days of Warbirds, we used to use the B-25H's to do NOE raids on enemy fields. We'd arrive within a couple miles of the enemy base at 300 ft, then grab to 1,000ft. Then about a half-mile away from the base, we'd start walking the 75mm cannons into the base acks. Acks down within first pass, then zoom up, come around for the rocket and bomb attack to finish off the base.

I tell ya that was the most enjoyable type of base attack I ever experienced. Nothing could top coming in at tree top level with guns blazing!

CC Yippee 38. Did a scenario in WB 277 a while back hunting subs with a 24 d. Was an absolute blast!

Dr Zhivago, that pic is of a B25-J Special Model. It had 8 x 0.50s in the nose along with 4x 0.50s mounted in blisters on each side of the plane. (In pares of 2) If I'm correct, over a 1000 B25s underwent the transfermation to the Special. The B25-H had 4 x 20mms and 1x 75mm in the nose. Anyway I would love to see any version of the B25 in AH.
