Tour 28 Pasty Skin Award...
« on: June 04, 2002, 09:27:28 AM »
OK, it's the 2nd business day of the month and Tour 28 has yet to end...

But I think that this month's winner is probably a shoe-in.
(Although my search method is far from thorough, and less than scientific.)

Ezee!

With 202 hours in the MA and 17 hours in the CT.
That's 219 logged hours total!

Keep in mind that the hours logged on the score pages reflect only flight time.  They do not reflect time spent in/as: Tower (including mission planning, mission-start wait time, and chatting on text buffer), ship gunner, TA, SEA, offline, map making, BB, web-site making, chart making, looking at the score page, etc.

You've got to figure that most people spend at least 10% more time than they officially log doing some of the above.  That means that Ezee must have really devoted at least 241 hours this month to AH.  (Out of 744 hours in a 31 day month,... Yikes!)

Man, I bet his imaginary girl-friend is feeling lonely. :) (Sorry dude) :)

Honorable Mentions go to the following folks who have logged about 190 hours in the MA this Tour:

Zamzi
ab8aac
Ogun

Feel free to add others who may have surpassed Ezee's achievement, or at least deserve an Honorable Mention.

I didn't even know this award existed but how cool!  :D

If I get 7 hours of sleep a night everyday for a month then I get a total of 196 hours of sleep in a month.  Ezee, from a conservative estimate, plays more hours than he gets sleep in a month.

Ezee, do you hold a job or how do you still have a roof over your head?

Don't get me wrong, if I could find a way to do it I would too, especially after 1.10 is released.   I already plan on being sick a couple of days

I don't understand this?  Pretty sure the scores/ranks had all reset when I was in the MA yesterday evening?

...some of these players could have dissabilities that keep them from enjoying the things the rest of us take for granted.

Yes I have a full time job, in fact if it hadnt been for being called out I would have even more time on line.  I am the Police Chief of Jefferson, Texas.  I only sleep about 3 hours a night this due in part from the 32 years in law enforcement and you just get used to it.  Am I addicted to this game, YOU BET.  I love it and spend every spare min. either in the MA or offline practicing trying to get as good as you guys, but since I only found out about flight sims in Aug of last year I am having to spend a lot more time than ya'll to learn all of this stuff.

I have had a lot of hobbies, (golf, professional tournament bass fishing in particular) that took up just as much time and was not nearly as cheap so I am in hog heaven.

So call me pasty and pass the ammo, LOL    I dont care as long as I can keep on playing, see ya up in the air.

LOL, WTG aac!

I love the attitude as well, that's what this award is all about!

So you fly a bit offline, eh?  How much?  How much total time did spend at AH this month?  You may claim the Pasty Skin Award if your willing to admit exactly how bad your adiction really is.

Feel free to include: time spent in/as: Tower (including mission planning, mission-start wait time, and chatting on text buffer), ship gunner, TA, SEA, offline, map making, BB, web-site making, chart making, looking at the score page, etc.

BTW, for serving and protecting your community for so long!

* The first step in this 12-step program is to admit that you are addicted...

* The second step is to find someone else who is even more of an AH junkie, and say to yourself, "Well, at least I'm not as bad off as that guy!".

* Step three is to point out to your wife or those who have become concerned about you that there are folks out there who are even more addicted and things could be a lot worse.
"

From an earlier thread...
and part of the reason why the Pasty Skin Award is so vital...

ROFLMAO...I was thinking the same thing:D

No way I can criticise someone for spending loads of time in AH...I would too...but I am married with two little guys.  This is a huge limiting factor.
