Just had a look Leslie, great work.  I only got to try 1 etching and though I thought it was decent for a first effort I wasn't satisfied with it (the bane of artists around the world I know).  I had time contraints and we were stuck using aerosol spray paint instead of rosin as aquatint so the greys aren't as fine and solid as I hoped they be.   I still got the plate, just no way to keep working on it. ;) Hope you like it.

I wanted to reproduce one of my favorite paintings by Tom Lea (related to our own beloved Mathman) The painting is "The Thousand Yard Stare"

Me, at work.

Ah, so when you invite a lady to look at your etchings, you really mean it!  ;)  Very nice work!  :D

The last time I saw an anti hunting comment like I was eating a deerburger. I laughed so hard an antler shot out my nose.

LOL I'm easy, I'm the geek in the middle!

As for my comment I miss Dhog, havn't seen nor heard from him since Oshkosh. Wish he would come home but I think that dog feels like he has to roam.

So wherever he is
Same holds true for half a pack of missing mongrels.

Great job on the aquatint Soulyss.  You should do more of them mate.  Graphic Chemical and Ink Supply in Villa Park, Illinois is a good contact for etching supplies and books, etc...

Thanks Flossy.  Yes, it helps to have some etchings on hand for just that purpose.;)
