I wonder if my boss would understand if I took the rest of the day off to go home and hug my new Cougar?

I started a thread in the "Hardware and Software" forum where some of us have posted our Cougar profiles. The thread is "Cougar Profiles for Aces High"

Each one is unique, but will provide you a good base to start your own profile.

Sabre, I would recommend actually going through the tutorials in the FOXY programming application instead of using one of the pre-made ones that people have built. This way you'll learn how it works so then you can make one that fits your style. That FOXY programming app is superb!

Went through the tutorials and had my very own Cougar setup for AH complete in about 3 hours, and that was with many distractions of playing with my son.

Hey, after waiting for years for a HOTAS of this quality, I think a little worshipping of Thrustmaster is appropriate. If I was on the team that developed the software and hardware for the Cougar, I'd feel damn proud right about now. It has been by far the best HOTAS ever made.

Not to demean CH Products at all, because they make fine equipment, too. But I have been extremely impressed by my Cougar and would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a new setup.

<----using ms sidewinder2 and sfs throttle. WAY better than the cougar ever could be. I got two throttles, and none of them dopey dial a widgets. 4 shift on the fly program settings, 2 hats, and switchs up the yazoo. Programs on the fly transparent to the game and no need to spend three hours trying to figure out how to set my trim..........
