Marital Discourse, courtesy of Revvin...

Well, the straw that broke the proverbial camels back came 2 days ago thanks to our old pal Revvin.

Until this point, my wife withstood my constant ravings about Stick Stirring,  Spit Dweebs, and other things she only pretended to understand. She would even watch with feined interest as I demonstrated basic ACM using my hands for airplanes. She even went so far as to agree to join me in having dinner with some of my squaddies.

But today, I unveiled my latest project. The great hombuilt cockpit that was posted here be Revvin.

"You want to build what?"
"A cockpit for my computer"
"You're a freak, you know that?"
"It's not a real cockpit"
"Joe...accept it....your a freak"

So Revvin <<>>!!!

FREAK OUT!

If it comes to a choice between the wife and Aces High.....I'm sure gonna miss her cooking.

Muck,

When I unveiled my plans for my own homebuilt cockpit,  my wife was very accepting of the fact.  Of course when I said I could do it for very little cost,  it was not a problem.  (The $2800 kitchen remodel didn't hurt none either!)

Different is good!

Shouldn't HTC have a BBS for the deposed wives of sim pilots where they can post, rant, rave, and basically say what sick individuals we are, while at the same time swap recipes? :D

Well, I'd never ever choose AH over my wife, but then again my wife and I have come to an understanding. Any extra money I make at work through OT or bonuses, I get to spend any way I like. My normal salary goes into the general kitty, though.

Works like a charm, guilt-free hardware shopping! :)

ROFL....

When I read the subject line, I thought it read "Martial discourse, courtesy of Revvin..."

Thought it was Martial (pertaining to war) discussion on the courtesy of Reversing course, and not running like a little girl. Figured this was just a big flame bait about the Bangstangs or something lol.

LOL - well I'd rather play myself than gossip with a load of non-playing women!  :D  I do have my own computer though, and wouldn't have it any other way!  (Our son has his own too, and we have another one we use as a server) .... so... I have access whenever I want it!  :)
