You f*****g beauties.

Especially nice against the dirtiest side in the world cup. Play fair, play with honour.

Paraguay? We're talking about the tournament favourites beaten convincingly here!

It should have been 2 or 3 - 0.

You didn't see the game RAM, did you?

For 75 minutes we dominated them, played them off the pitch. Owen should have scored, Sheringham and Scholes had superb shots saved by the keeper. Only in the last 15 minutes did Argentina come into the game.

It was convincing.

hummmmmmmm sounds quite similar to the France-Senegal match to me...

and I'm not going around there saying Senegal's going to win anything ;)

P.S. Sheringam's volley was not that difficult to save...scholes long range shot went right to the middle of the argentinian goal...if that's all you have to show, I'd rather leave it alone ;).

P.S. 2: I think the penalty was not :).

P.S. 3: Yep, you played better...but convincing?!?!?! come on...that's to be REALLY optimistic.

wtfg England!!!   Beat Nigeria and you're through, possibly winning the group.

RAM, yeah, that Slovenia, Paraguay, South Africa group you're in is the REAL Group of Death, ain't it?

The penalty was definitely right. Look at it from the camera behind owen and you'll see there is definite contact and he's brought down.

Screw you RAM. Go back to your walkover group. :)

We only need a draw against Nigeria to go through. :D

Dowding, a draw could be interesting...  It'd be a 2nd place finish more than likely (assuming Sweden v Argentina produces a winner and not a draw as well).  A 2nd place finish gets a second round matchup with SPAIN!!!

hmm, maybe a draw WOULD be a good thing for BBS chest thumping purposes!

Go England!  (always my 2nd team behind the USA)

oh I don't hold my breath with Spain (mostly because we have a butter defence)...I just remark that we ALREADY are in 2nd phase :)

and I repeat again...walkover group or not, we didn't draw with Sweden ;) :D
