no. Spain will cross with the 2nd place of the Germany-Cameroon-Ireland-Saudi Arabia group.

Don't make me bring up Spain's performance in '98, RAM. ;)

Thanks for the support Nifty. :) As runner up in the Group of Death (TM), we play the winner of Group A.

Which could very well be Senegal.

ah, we did have a performance in '98? :D :D :D...that's something new ! :D...

Clemente was a love muffin who always put an incredibly defensive team and screwed it badly whenever an important match showed...

P.S. the only match we played with the players who should've played from the start was vs Bulgaria, and that happened because we NEEDED a win...we won. 6-1. When is the last time you guys won 6-1 in a world cup? ;)

P.S.2...I can't recall seeing a world cup where my national team is not playing...IIRC, in WC'94 you were at home eating popcorn...so don't make me bring up England's perfomrance in '94, Dowding...

we live here and now, and to say that because you've won 1-0 vs argentina now you're the bomb, is as false as to say that, had you lost 0-1 Argentnia would be the bomb. IN the match I saw, I saw a better playing England...but nothing to be so optimistic as you are.

just imagine I start now claiming that spain will win the WC because we've won 2 matches. :D. We won both of them, yes...but without playing good soccer and with a butter-like defence.

You won vs Argentina but not with that much of a great soccer as you seem to claim. Is that win enough to be satisfied?. Yes. Enough for such optimism as is showed here?...

no :)

Exactly where did I claim we're going to wing the WC? Because I'm having trouble locating such a comment...

Well, for a start, I wouldn't use the term 'the bomb' like some half-arsed Noo York gangsta. :)

The point is we beat the tournament favourites. And that speaks volumes. They weren't Bulgaria, they weren't some journeyman South American team - they were THE South American team.

BTW - do you remember the last time Spain met England in a competitive match? Remind me of the outcome again... :D

Well I'm not that used to the english dialects :D, and anyway PAraguay is a team which is NOT that easy as you might imagine, believe me. Bulgaria was the 3rd in 1994, and in 1998 they still were a force to be reckoned with.

and no no idea aobut the last competititve match between spain and england...maybe you can enlighten me :)
