I think 1.10 will be wicked, but I wouldnt mind many small improvements. Makes me feel like you guys are really putting the elbow grease in for my little ol 13 dollars......

there is a certain amount of programing overhead that does not end up in the game that must be done for each update, so to have many small updates would just slow everything down, and it's only been 3 months

I like things just the way they are with nice big updates and being told what's in the line up and where the sim is going, if you went to brand W you're be treated like a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed on bulls**t and still be waiting for stuff promised over a year ago.

Small updates more often would be my first choice.

1. Every few weeks 2 or 3 new aircraft and bug fixes
2. Every 4 months a larger update (no need for A/C in this update just new strats. GV's and targets/maps ect.
3. Every now and then a supprise something out of the blue

Just a wish list, I am very pleased with HT's support and responce to it's customers (many companys could take lessons).

For all the new people, there will be a few small bugs in the new release, just watch how fast they are addresed and fixed you will be amazed. Please keep your neg. vibes in check, I bet you wont have to wait more then a few hours to see them squashed.

Now if I can just hold out a bit more

Small updates quadruple the amount of work HTC has to do.

The only games that release planes individually are boxed games where 3rd party developers created the plane and release them.

Um...

Look at most other games - we already get lots of small updates. Every couple months, in fact.

Don't confuse constant patching, ala a certain other game, with constant updates.

EDIT: And Zippatuh, I feel your pain, oh, oh so acutely. I swear, the next time I hear 'Well, can't we just release a COUPLE of the updates today?' I'm just gonna snap.

"Many" is a relative term. I would argue that we do many large updates. Now who would want many small updates over many large updates?

I like small updates for two reasons:
1. I'm 56k bound and hate waiting through the long download before I can try out the new toys.
2. With so many people now playing, large updates seem to make it difficult for HTC to handle the demand. With the last update I was being constantly booted during the first day, was finally able to dl the file the second day _ but it was corrupted so I had to wait until the third day to be able to get in and fly.
Give me my toys in smaller, easier to digest packages.

I like the way things are now thankyou Pyro. Knowing whats coming, whats planned and then seeing it released is great, no broken promises.

Baine>With all due respect with so many free download managers out there such as Getright and GoZilla to name but two of them there is no excuse about being on a 56K dial-up. I used to be on a 56K dial-up and set Getright to download when I went to bed, it can download and resume the download if the connection is broken and even re-dial your ISP if disconnected. You can queue up multiple downloads and even have Getright hang up the modem and switch the computer off when done.

It's amazing what HTC manage to fit into a file less than 30MB in size when both Warbirds and WW2OL downloads are over 100MB each.
