For 1.10, Fighter Formation To Intercept Bomber Formation?

The new bomber formation changes coming in 1.10 sound exciting, but they will certainly change the frequent encounters now between one fighter against one bomber.  

If bombers will be in WWII traditional 3-ship formations flown by one pilot, can there be an option for interceptors in WWII traditional 4-ship flights flown by one pilot?  

The new bomber formations can quickly be massed beyond any chance of interception, e.g., three pilots bringing NINE B-17s to a base defended by maybe three fighters flown by one pilot each.

Related question:  Which bombers in 1.10 will qualify for three-ship massing?  Only four-engine bombers?  Twins too?  Even single-engines like Il-2 and Avenger?

Halo, only LEVEL bombers (b17,b26, ki67, arado) will have the formation option.

I dont know if the Ju88 and TBM will have it, as they are also dive bombers (though IMO the Ju88 should have it since its got no real armament.. HECK, I think the ju88 should get a FIVE plane formation )

From what HTC has said (see the quote from Pyro below) about being able "loose" the planes in the formation if your manuvers are too aggressive, I don't see why the JU88 wouldn't have the formation.  Dive bombing, under the best of circumstances, probably is wild enough to loose the remainder of the formation.  Seems to me that the problem (if it is a problem, I am not convinced) of a JU88 box doing a dive bombing run would solve itself since most people won't want to rack up deaths that fast.

dive bombing not always mean a 90 degree dive. your AI drones will follow your lead buff as long as you dont do a rough manouver. So a shallow dive from high alt till you at 45 degrees wont be a problem imo.

Ju88 should have it as much as any other bomber. All bombers with level bombing sights should have it and will, have it (I think).

Heh wilbuz, I can see the flotilla of strafing TBM's vulching a base while carrier sits on the beach. That'd be an awesome sight.. 3 TBMs on slight dive firing their .50's making BLACK SHEEP-like runs hahahaha.
