It would be nice to implement some of these more realistic features. Certain planes have advantages over others now, with the gameplay consessions.

Providing more realistic limitations for certain planes would grant the high altitude performance planes the real advantages that they are supposed to have up high.

I think one thing that would be real nice to see would be an oxygen system for planes with a limited supply based on the A/C's actual capacity. Add a gauge to show oxygen remaining. Pilot would have to start switching to oxygen at altitudes over 15K.

Flying above 15K with no oxygen would result in blackouts, similar to those of when you are pilot wounded.

That would cool

well.... I don't know how realistic this is but for gameplay reasons I would like to see the pilots head explode if he exceeded 12k in altitude.

I agree 110% with this idea.
This would make the game 40% more enjoyable for me.
So I would play it 100% more, and cause 87% more whines.

Great idea!  But remember the newbies...always, always remember the newbies.  For they are the future of AH, and...and...fek I'm tired.

I like it!

Though I hope HTC models the P-38's altitude gear to that of the Pacific Theater  :)

wouldn't any oxy supply last longer than the longest sortie we have in AH?   But I do want oxy bottles in AH.   I f we have em tho let's have em explode when hit.

No... we need a "pilots head explodes at 12K feature" in AH.   everyone would fly lower where I want em.   What is good for me has to be good for the rest of you.   It would suit my style of flying better so therefore it would make for a better game.
