Happy Father's Day, Dad's!!
« on: June 16, 2002, 09:06:15 AM »
Anyone can be a father, but is a special thing to be a good dad. It takes work, discipline, and a very big heart. It is also one of the biggest responsibilities there ever was to uphold. We owe it to our kids.

I hope you are being treated as well as I am this afternoon:). Wife is grilling me a porterhouse with a big ole baked Idaho potato and some veggies.

Yes indeed, it is good to be King...err Dad.

I'm getting a Prime Rib Roast for Dinner from the wifeypoo.

And I recieved a new corner unit computer desk, a new lunchbox, a 9-in-1 pocket tool, and Altec Lansing 3 pc. computer speakers.

I have 4 sons, the oldest is 20, the twins are 16, and the youngest is 12.

Now raising four sons can be quite trying as many of you can imagine, but as you can see, I'm starting to reap the rewards of my labors :D

My 2 year old daughter said "Happy Father's Day" to me when she woke up this morning. That and for her to be happy today is all the Father's Day present I need.

Plus I got my Saitek X45 partially programmed last night so I should have a good FD tonight :D

I got a new T-shirt and a computer game.  :) Best part is spending time with my son even though it's not my weekend.

My son told me a joke I have to share with all you fathers.

At breakfast he asked me, "Papa why do they call ack, ack"? After a pause I was about to answer his question when my wife told me to ask why. Turning to my son I said "Ok Jed, why do they call ack, ack"? He smiled broad across his 6 year old face and said "Because when the ack shoots at you, you say ACK! ACK! They are shooting at me"! :D

What a kid! Gave me a good laugh. Then he handed me this drawing.

ACK! They are shooting at me!!! ;)
