Lately I've felt that the Flying Pigs are not getting the respect we deserve in AH.  Don't be suprised if the Pigs pay a visit to your base!

whatever happened to the Flying Pigs, anyway? They were one of the very top Warbirds squads way back in the golden age of 1.11r2.

I remember snak, worr, vila, scop, karaya1, and a whole host of others. Where did they all run off to?

I'm still involved in the Flying Pigs as many of us are.  Ya know RL(tm) can really catch up with all of us.  For instance, I just got married Saturday, so now maybe I can relax again and return to the skies! ;)  < is this true?!

Yeah, RL (tm) is a squeak sometimes. But things are slowly working themselves out for me at least (finally got a new machine and a shiney new Cougar setup to go with it).

We're still in touch, so don't be surprised if Pigflights start showing up in the MA again in the near future...

We're still here. I went and joined DoK GonZo on vPaddock.com playing GPL (along with GROWL, the GPL league made up of JUST ex-Warbird/AH guys - now found at growl.theofficersclub.com - they just picked up FunkedUp as a new driver) but after one prominent Pig's wedding this summer I may hook the joystick back up and see what V.1.10 has to offer. I'm debating on heading to Con to meet up with Eagl.

Smut is still our XO, Lephturn is our interim CO.

Worr is still playing Warbirds (I think) and is no longer active with the Pigs, Mili is whereabouts unknown - and SnaK has been kidnapped by elves (we think) - Tigershark is quiet but still around - Whip is retired from sims but who knows - but our roster is still full of familiar names - Jinx, FunKy, Killjoy, Eagl, Roamer, Vila, Smut, Ichi, Lephturn, Eagl, Lawndart, Aegis, K1, Superman, etc.

I'd have to call HTC and see if they'll let me get my sign back, but perhaps we'll see XX in the skies again. I'd like to convince our original CO to come back and run this bunch again... we'll see.
Also, there exists a possibility of a reunited Barnyard animals squadron with the Black Sheep.

Every once in a while I'll see his name in the kill buffer, but haven't lately.

People used to confuse me with him a lot, evidently he is a good guy :)

I flew a bunch with Frodo and Killjoy last night in fact.  I don't fly all that much, though--I put the joystick down for a long time playing Everquest, which is still a major diversion.  Along with being married (almost a year) and all the other little piddly RL stuff that comes along.

I actually came back about a month ago for a little while, I hadn't flown since 1.08p4 whenever that was.  Man, has it changed!  400+ people up in the main, wow!  Now I can suck in front of even MORE people! :)  It's way different now...seems to be a lot less respect, a lot more flaming and arguing, whether on channel 1 or 2.  Nobody answers when ya salute 'em after a good fight.  But HTC have done a whale of a job with AH, for sure.

Oh, and Moose...now people mistake me for you. :p  I fly as "fpmoose" now, it was all I could think of when I found out that "moose" got taken after AH went pay.

Hey, Rip:  Are there any plans to have some big WB- or AW-style multiple-frame scenarios in addition to the weekly stuff?

Moose, we just finished "Sicily" so I don't think the CM crew has anything planned until after the Con (6 weeks) but I'm sure they've got an idea for a big event...here's to hoping!
