After heavy fighting over a British airfield, udet is hit and forced to ditch his beautiful Me109 F-4 on enemy territory.

Determined not to surrender, our hero starts his perilous journey, on foot, trying to escape the police and the home guard and make it back to Germany.

the next morning finds udet wandering aimlessly (in the wrong direction too) through the beautiful British countryside
