not all trees are 2 d..the trunk was the pixelating part that had to have a true edge.. Somethingn about polygon collisions since each round is tracked.Frying Tiger could explain it better..the boss art guy. Yes..the water splashed up..broke into two main parts and settled back in the river. the bubble thing is tarp  covered supplies of some sort. The city is Dinant with more behind me and to my right.

I was horsing arond offline the other night in 1.64, and I must admit that the HE-111 is beautiful at 1600x1200x32. :)

I sure wish the HE-111 would make an appearance here in AH!

Brave men otw to Glory...To climb a climbable tree..one of the 4 sided multi branched ones..go prone and and on click at time go up the truck.

Well I broke down and tried it last night!

I was able to get into a tank right away by going to a base 2 towns away from the nearest fight and drove for 1/2 hour to get to the nearest enemy only to be killed by a guy and his pistol. I had all my hatchs closed but he was still able to kill me.

I tried to jump into another tank but none were available....anywhere!

I decided to come in as a SMG and ran around looking for someone only to be killed by a tank.(I assume it was a tank because I only heard 1 loud boom but never saw anything)

I went for the sapper this time and was trying to sneak up on a tank when this A-hole saw me and decided to warn the tank by shooting ME instead of the tank. He thought it was funny that he got me killed.

I left and came back a little later and was able to get into a tank again only to die when I hit a bush and it flipped me.

I again couldn't get into another tank so I came back as a SMG only to get killed by.......hell I have no idea! I didn't see or hear anything!

I think the terrain is better and the game seems more stable but the gameplay still sucks! I'm going to keep trying but not for much longer!

It sounds like the guy with the pistol that killed you was a sapper. He prolly killed you with his satchel charge.

Did you try flying in 1.64 yet? What did you think of it?

Try this ;)

Start engine, leave it idling

raise gear (flopping belly onto ground)

push throttle foreward,

take off :)


 And if you get bored with that try doing it again but lower and raise your gear a few times more before final lift off  :D

I did something like that last night. I accidently hit the button on my Cougar to toggle the gear. The gear on my Hurricane started to fold in, and I felt myself sinking. So I quickly hit the button again and felt mysel rising back up!

I know, it's still got bugs in it, but it's much better than before. I remember a few releases of AH that had a fews bugs in it, too. :)
