Well, I'm in training at my airline finally get a moment break and log onto the squadron forum here and the password has changed again.

I guess I am out.

Trying the best I can, but I guess it aint good enough.  Back to the old 900th I guess.

No one booted you out, (as far as I know) but there was a change in the password for the squad forum. No big deal as almost all of us, except Rude, had to remind Rude to let us know!   :)

Seriously, if you had wanted to know the score all you had to do was e-mail Rude about it and I'm sure you would have gotten the password. Even a "private" post here to rude would have gotten you a response.

easier said than done.

I am in training in a hotel in Dallas and this is my laptop into which I never bothered to import my address book and what not.

I tried to go to the Squad website but my connect speeds through the hotel operator are 24000 and the darn page takes DAYS to load, all the while I am burning connect charges.

I don't want to be a special case.  I ALWAYS fly where the squad is flying, when not flying to pay my bills (A300-605R) I show up for squad night and listen to the briefing. When not flying I still try and read the board once a week or so.

If it aint good enough then..Oh well.

I figure sooner or later he will see the post...

don't be upset. hb locked me out of our squad forum after i made passes at him.

took like 3 weeks to get back in. you're lucky that your case was a mistake.

There is a private message with a quote from Rude, posted in TAS forum on 10/27. I sent it that way so you could see his reply about your schedule problems. As you can see it was NOT an issue. The private message system was also explained to you in my note to you.

As it didn't include the password to the squad or Rude's email it was singularly unhelpful.    I don't have the time to go hunting for a post from Rude with sim in the morning.

Sounds like this is a good candidate for Rudes "Whine of the Week" to me..   :)

This kind of communication for any squadron should be done in private.... there WERE ways you could have done it IF you really wanted too. The spirit and the logic behind your posts say a lot about you whether you realize it or not.

No stress, no orders, just plain (plane) flying!   :)

We'll start a "Flying 109F4s and shooting down Mustangs" night. We can all use an easy night every week!   :)
