Well, that's a good point.
See you have people that...
1)  Talk about getting a pilots license
2)  Go thru the training, but never get the license
3)  Get the license, but never fly
4)  Talk about getting a kit but never do (costs, $$, etc)
5)  Buy a kit, but lack the resources (time, money) to complete it
6)  Complete the kit, fly, then build another
I'm at level 5.  I bought a plane that is very complicated, very neat, but requires more hands on work than I am qualified to attempt.  For that, I'm *smart* to know my limits versus TRY to put this thing together all wrong, go fly, and die in it.  
  Next plane will be 2 seats, preferably jet, something I can learn to build (or have built for me) and a blast to fly, even if it has a high operational cost.  I'll take 10 jet hours over 1,000 propellor anyday
