Gents; the SEA is avialable for this rumble on either Saturday July 15th at 3:00 pm Eastern or on Saturday July 22nd at 3:00 pm eastern. (GMT -5)

It is imperative that the dat/time be selected ASAP..

Hristo.. which day?

Haven't heard a word from Hristo since his last post in the discussion thread last week. If we don't hear from him by Monday night, I'd suggest asking Udie to step in and take the LW lead and assist in determining the date best suited to the LW and Allied sides.

I'm not trying to railraod anybody, but I also do not wish to duplicate the Paris Peace Talks diatribes of the 70's... we need to make this happen quickly so other events can be organised and flown.

I have no objection to either date; more important is finalising the date/time selection ASAP so the SEA Arena can be reserved!

Thanks!

Hristo!!

Glad to hear from you.. the train you kicked into motion is still chugging along.

Sundays the SEA runs 'snapshots' and Scenario Lites. It's booked as far as I know. The Arena will be available on the Saturdays at the times and dates specified.

As far as the time goes, perhaps you are unaware that most of the pilots on both sides are from here in the USA.. and that 3:00 PM GMT is 5:00 AM in the USA on the west coast. This is hugely inconvienient for the USA pilots. Assuming they'd like to be awake for the fight, this means they'd have to haul themselves outta bed at 3:30 am on a Sunday morning. Where I am; in the Eastern time zone, I hauled my bellybutton outta the sack at 6:30 am for our first duel. 7 cups of coffee did little to cure my pre-flight jitters.

Since in Croatia, you are at +1 hour GMT, and the Central USA is -6 hours GMT, we'd be flying on our Saturday afternoon, and you'd be flying on your Saturday evening. Or did I get this backwards?

Depending on the time agreed upon Sunday may be doable.  The snapshots usually start 3pm EST. and run for about an hour to 2 hours tops. This may give you a nice window before or after? Up to you guys tho

Thanks Rocket!!

I'm certain I'll lose most of the allied pilots to a pre-dawn fight schedule as Hristo wants.

We'd have to do it in the afternoon; US time for it to get the attendance necessary; and this steps on the Snapshot schedule. This is why I'm pushing for a Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday.. it does not interfere with the Snapshot events.

Hristo.. I take it that the time of day is not an issue; just saw you flying in MA at 3:00 eastern.

Sundays the Arena is already booked.

I take it you cannot get acces to your computer on a Saturday evening your time????

Lemme work this out... Saturday 3.00pm, GMT -5... so that makes it Sunday morning 8am for me at GMT+12 right?

Now I just gotta remember how to work out the daylight saving thing.

Sounds good, sooner the better!

Only Sundays, sorry. I may be able to drop in the arena for 30 mins or so some other day, but you will never find me there Saturday night
