the socres 1 ta one.. axis whupped us in 2000, we kicked bellybutton in 2001 and now it's time ta do it again.
Fer old times sake, here's last years Rumble Poster.. anybody wanna take a crack at this years rendition??
The rumble will be broken down into a buncha different 'outer cages' arrayed around a center cage. Each outer cage will have a maximum of 32 aircraft in them. Thats 16 axis, and 16 allied a/c confronting each other in each cage. After you slaughter your adversarys in THAT cage, the survivors will be funneled by the terrain into the central cage were you will join with other allied survivors to do battle with the axis survivors.. if any.
Three frames in the Rumble.. early war, mid war and late war. Best two outta the three takes the whole match. Last plane flying wins it for the side. No roe.. just find 'em; kill 'em all and move to the center cage. The terrain is designed to keep you in the cage, the size of the cage will keep all players within dot range. I expect there there will be one friendly and one enemy field at the bottom of the center cage for refuel/rearm purposes, as we had last year. One plane, one life per frame. If you die in frame one, don't go anywhere.. you'll be upping again in frame 2.
We have a Rumble Resistration forum here on the BBS in the Special Events Section for sign-ups; trot on over there and get registered. I'll need your squad affiliations and if you are a squad leader, indicate so as you register. I'll be maintaining squad cohesion to the maximum extent possible, so if your inna squad and wanna fly together with yer squadmates yah better be damn sure you register indicating that info.
Squad leaders, you will have complete autonomy in how you set up the tactics in your cage. You need to let me know how many guys in your squad are FOR SURE flying so i can be sure and give you a fair crack at those slots. Remember.. only 16 allied slots per cage.. and it looks like we're gonna have somethin like 8 or more cages. If i get more squads than cages, then some of you may wind up sharing those slots with another squad, so register early and reserve your slots.
