Is the 200 bucks for the admission for the week worth it?

I was doing some reading today about the OshKosh airshow and it sounds like its a pretty big thing....for something that aint in Texas.

I would definitely like to make this one sometime...for sure not this year but hopefully next year. Would it be worth the trip and the cash for admission?

Go for it. Don't even think about it. Its the best grass roots flying place that I know of, and everybody there has the same love you do for the romance of flying. Pilots and their beloved planes converge there from all over the country. Thousands of them during the whole week. I've been there several times. Great memories.

If ur gonna go, better get your hotel reserved now, cuz they will be sold out very soon for next year. I've been to several of the Oshkosh fly-ins and its well worth the 200 clams.

Its worth it. If its a warbird and it flies, it'll be there. And take your camera. And more film than you think you will need. And buy a 200mm lens if you don't have one already.
