I noticed that I killed a bunch more knights then rooks and was surprised, until I remembered that rooks always switch teams when the going gets tough, so it's still probably about half/half, some of the knights I killed were just rooks resting, hoping to pick up reset perks.

If you a team player and otherwise an average pilot GV's should be getting you most I would think.  As for what you are killing, well thats entirely up to you (as you do get to pick what you shoot at).

Yeah 33 Ostwinds with niki and f6f tied for second place.  But I have been on purpose experimenting with (read dieing in)  Hurricane D alot this tour.

Heh, on the few sorties I've shot PT's with a plane, I never got above 5k. I've killed them with Panzers and LVT's too, but most of these were (no doubt) fleet kills.
