LOL!!!

nice tricky cheater we have here!!
I guess that even wingless a spitfire's wingloading is less than that of a 190A5!!!

For sure was a fun view that smoking cigar turning close and being hit each pass

In WB this was caused by packet loss. The other guy never recieved the packets telling his front end he had taken hits and was damaged, your front end got them so you see a mortally wounded ac.

I would say most times people think they see a cheater or some unusual flying it's net related, about 99.9% of the time.

But pretty sure that if he fires at you then you fall in flames isnt it?

If the guy doesnt receive packets from Hristo's FE how come he was able to see his maneouvers and so try to avoid him? or is gunnery a different "packet loss" than Flight?

Sorry I still think that we have a proof of serious cheating here...unless you tell me that with no packets from hristo's FE the guy was able to see his moves. Kinda strange, IMHO.

RAM, I never implied he was a cheater. This is just proof that those things happen.

I appologize to the pilot if this was caused by connection weirdness.

Yep, bad connects must be. Saw this twice the other night, same sortie! Man, was I getting frustrated, shot up 2 differnt cons, thought they both were going down. Nope, they both got back on my 6 'cause I ignored them   I logged off in anger, and came back later, things were good again.

Lets get the mob ready, and make sure that oil is boiling hot, I guess.

If you have what you think might be, possibly be, proof of cheating, send it to HTC via email.

Posting that here does not accomplish much IMO.

Same thing happened to zigrat, I viewed film he posted of 26 flying along smoking and wingless. Looked like a big fat stogie. Understand that it is related to connect. If you suspect someone of hacking check thier score. Seems to me they would have a high kill\death ratio.

Problem is, when WB got hacked by busy and his buddies, at times it looked just like this.  At first it was thought to be a net lag thing, and if asked he would say he had a 700 ping.  Its just hard to tell the difference, but usually 99% of the time its lag.  When it happens over and over to the same guy, thats when to be suspect.

As a rule, if you see this happen... you'll also see something else happen.  The person with no wings/tail/whatever will not be getting any kills.  Whatever packet flow is disrupted to cause this also disrupts hits on enemy planes.

It happened to a squadmate the other night.  I've also seen it before in some other on-line sims.

If a pilot is flying around like this and still scoring kills.... I'd be a little more suspicious.  At the very least... he should try re-logging.

In all sims to get this effect all it takes is to lose the packet enroute that contained the hit data, the game could be running perfectly but if a net problem coincides with the time of transmission of the packet containing the hit data then one comp sees a damaged/wingless bird and the other chap flies on oblivious to any damage because it never arrived at his end.
Its nothing to do with one comp not sending the data or the other chap choosing to not receive it, but it is everything to do with it getting lost enroute.
Anybody who thinks otherwise then please post below in less than 100 words why you think the internet is problem free 100% of the time, and be aware 99.9% of people will be able to post saying the opposite
Also this game is played worldwide, errm i know that may come as a shock to some of you living in the USA but the world does not end at your borders   so it could easily happen you are firing at somebody on the other side of the planet and possible packet loss increases dramatically.
I also dont think Hristo was suggesting it was a cheater RAM, you are maybe being so eager to agree with everything you think Hristo does or says that you are in danger of losing your objectivity.
Its never good to accuse anybody of cheating in open posts, take your time check if others are experiencing the same effects with the same player and then be absolutely sure because if your wrong you will have started a witch hunt on some poor sod whose only crime is living a long way away or having a crap ISP.
Specifically for AH i say if some of you repeatedly experience the same effects with the same player then contact Hitech with your concerns and i am sure they could monitor the player in question.
But wingless planes still flying to me is no real concern until somebody guarantees 100% connection quality, sure its a pain in the bellybutton cos you gotta hit em again and may be wasting ammo, but no big deal.

Skuzzy can probably explain this better, but UDP does not guarantee packet delivery, whereas TCP does.

Ahem...Sorry sir you are COMPLETELY wrong. COMPLETELY. I said that IMHO that was a proof of cheating, nothing to do with what hristo thinks or says. You say that the film isnt a proof? ok. Great. But again I have my OWN opinions and I know to THINK by myself.

I am deeply offended with what you said there, I may agree with Hristo in many things but for sure I wont follow him like a bloody stupid sheep! whenever I think he is wrong I say it, whenever I think he is right I say it...
and all by myself.

We, for sure, share a lot of points of view. but one thing is to share a point and other thing is to have one point and then change it if Hristo thinks in other way. And i NEVER did that.

Never EVER! dare to say something close to that to me again. and I mean NEVER!.

I may be young but I am not stupid. Damn it!

Cheating is a bad rumor, and  it can seriously effect the business at HTC. If new players read your nonsense and don’t know who you are and that you’re a sniveling crybaby, they might think there actually is cheating going on. Not good PR.

RAM, you are a complete idiot.
