There are Japanese planes in this game?

Are you sure you are in the right place?  There are more VERSIONS of 109's than there are Japanese fighters.

Mitsu, he figured since there are so many Japanese planes missing from the game, that a little bit of the land mass of Japan should be missing from the squad marking as well.  ;)

Mitsu-san,

My humble apologies to you and to the people of Shikoku for its omission in our squadron artwork.   This artwork was done by Bigred in 1999 when he started 27th Sentai in WarBirds and I do not know how it came to be left out.

However, Nifty's remark is well-taken.   The missing land mass will be symbolic of all the missing Japanese planes in AH.  If and when they are added, I promise to track down Bigred and get the original .psd file so I can add the island's landmass!
