Cool Excerpts from Sturmjaeger site
« on: September 20, 2001, 07:45:00 PM »
Found this site dedicated to Sturmjaeger which contains some nice excerpts from jaegers and also bomber crew about their experiences during the war: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/neilpage/homepage.html

Here is a excerpt from a surviving jaeger's attack and bailout: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/neilpage/lechtal.html

Here is the announcement for a commemerative gathering that was held a short while ago.  Toward the middle of the page there is an excerpt from a bomber gunner from the 465th BG. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/neilpage/TyrolMemorial03Aug.html

Lots of other interesting information on the site also.  One thing that can be related to AH, especially the bomber conflicts as of late.  When they attacked, they didn't usually attack singly, so dead-six attacks weren't totally suicidal (plus no icons and range markers of course).  My advice: if you want to live, don't attack from dead-6 on your own.
