How about a pre 1943 Axis VS Allies.  All pre 43 planes enabled.
(When 1.10 comes out)

Based on the following, I think my above idea would need to be June of 1943 and earlier.  Otherwise Japan, Russia and Italy would hardly have any planes.

From Aircraft and Vehicles:

"OK guys, here's an updated compiled list, please hack away. I found some info on some of the new planes. Other planes had many conflicting dates of beginning service, so I chose one and am very likely wrong on a few.
Also, please refrain from spouting random data without making a point...
I.E. please start with "I think that Plane XXX's date should be changed to M-Y, because..." or "I think that Plane XXX's date is correct because..."
Please feel free to copy the entire list and make changes(and re-post), or start a new list if you don't like how I have it arranged. Please note that I broke the US planes into Army and Navy (+Marine). This is because whoever sets-up and arena will probably want to look at Pacific/carrier or Europe, but not both. Of course they will still have to borrow land-based planes from the Army list, but at least the CV capable planes are separated, and when setting up a non-Pacific arena they won't have to sift through blue planes.:

just a dumb idea here :)

what about a couple of days without any planes

an island map, bunches of battleship groups without carriers and only gv's enabled

some Bismark vs Hood scenerios along with hammering shore bases and capturing with lvts from fleet ...

can you launch lvts without cv's?

just a couple of days as that'd be as long as I could go without planes :)

Hey Guys, I think eaglers a SAILOR!!:D

Eagler, I have thought before they should make a Sea battle/ Land battle arena. That might be fun for a change. However with ver 1.10 out soon there are too many new toys for everybody to fly in. So you know there would be a great nashing of teeth.;)

Eskimo, a Midway terrain is already complete, but I am waiting on some 'things' from HiTech to make it fully functional. If you would like to see it just e-mail me. Sabre may even have a copy of it, but I'm not sure.
