Rail lines can be found at factory cities (munitions, fuel, radar, troops) and HQs. With the strat change in 1.09 from 1.08 the rail lines and roads no longer crisscross the landscape and now only make a straight run into their city/base for about 5 miles.

A train shot up my Mossie last time I was on. I was attacking the Bish radar factory when its train showed up. Hit me 5-6 times and put a hole in my port inboard fuel tank.

Once I bailed from my plane when I was near own train. I saw black smoke coming behind the hill and little later train came up and passed me. It had nice sound too

Best way to kill a train is park an ostiwind on the tracks just to the other side of a hill near the depot and blast numerous trains till you run out of ammo.

yeah, trains are a real pain...the best way to kill one is to drop a couple bombs on it, and strafe the rest. rockets are good, cannon are too.

i like killing the convoys better. two 500lbers and a few strafing runs are all it takes
