Comes with Very Rare Distinguished Flying Cross ribbon!!
as well as
1939-45 Star
Defense Medal/Volunteer Medal with Maple Leaf/War Medal ribbons

This tunic is in exceptional condition (no mothing) & a larger size than normal.
Would be great for a re-enactor.
I'm not sure the proper measurements but my chest is
40 inches (actual) around & it fits me good.
So would that be a 40??
The inseam of the arm is 19"
I'm 6' 1" & it's a little short on me
so I would say it was made for someone around 5' 11"

Appendices. Map. Black & white photographs. Original blue cloth covered boards with gilt titles on spine. Fine condition. "When Canadian troops and British Commandos amde their now famous 'reconnaissance in force' against the harbour town of Dieppe on 19th August 1942, they were supported and protected by the largest array of Royal Air Force aircraft ever seen in WWII until that time. Air Marshal Trafford Leigh-Mallory, AOC of Fighter Command's No. 11 Group, was given command of the air operation and had 46 Spitfire, 8 Hurricane, 3 Typhoon, and 4 Mustang squadrons under his direction, as well as 7 Boston and Blenheim squadrons of 2 Group and Fighter Command. On this day Leigh-Mallory commanded more squadrons than were available to Air Chief-Marshal Hugh Dowding at any one time during the Battle of Britain two years previously. Here, for the first time, is a detailed, minute by minute, hour by hour, blow by blow account of this day on which the Royal Air Force fought its greatest air battle. The RAF flew nearly 3,000 sorties: the Luftwaffe 945. Air combat, ground attacks, bombing and smoke laying missions cost the RAF over 100 aircraft and the Luftwaffe nearly 50. All this happened in just 16 hours. In addition to the in-depth research into the RAF's activities o 19th August 1942, there are also many personal accounts from pilots who took part, adding colour to the story of this unique day in history of the Royal Air Force." Contents includes: Overture and Beginners, Dawn, The Air Umbrella is Opened, The Luftwaffe Reacts, The Dorniers Arrive, Abbeville, Withdraw, Dog-fights over Dieppe, Air Cover, The Way Home, Battle in the Clouds, The LUftwaffe, Speaking personally, Summing Up. WWII German Air Force 1st mod dagger NR 3Day! Item # 2116418127
This auction is about a German Air Force dagger from WWII. This is the first model dagger used by the Luftwaffe and was manufactured by wMw (WAFFENFABRIK MAX WEYESBERG) of Solingen (look at the photo). This is a somehow rarer maker. All the metal elements are in very good condition and the fittings retain most of their plating and gilding. The blade remains extremely straight and sharp, almost like new with only a few minor darker spots. The original leather washer is still present. The scabbard is immaculate, while the grip shows some aging. The wire on the grip is all intact (see photo) The chain and its fittings are perfect.

WWII 8th Air Force Trench Art Candle Sticks Item # 2116044844
From a local estate of a mechanic in the 8th Air Force in WWII is this pair of WWII candle sticks that are six inches high and the base is in the figure 8 made out of aircraft plexaglass. Ver unusual, I guess this mechanic had more time than I thought to mess around. Then again he could have made these just before he came home.

then take the initial monetary hit and get a brew kit and brew your own.   :)

I have some home brewed nut brown that's every bit as good as Newcastle, but the grains, hops and malts only comes out to be about 50 cents a bottle.  I'm lucky if I can find Newcastle for under $7 a 6pack here.

Not only do you save money in the long run, it's just plain fun!  :D
