Dueling arena is for 1 v 1 fights.  :)  Anything goes in the MA, tho I won't blow my alt to dive in on a 2v1.

Kdf, they weren't trying to steal your kill, they just figured you came over from AW and that you probably needed help!   :)

Welcome to AH.

KDF,

There is a bug that was reported about blowing up when you go to the field.  Maybe that was the problem with getting vulched.  I had that problem one night, is switched aircraft, then switched back and had no problem.

As far as the gang bang goes, I totaly agree with you.  I have seen my own countrymen either swoop in and steal a kill, or just fly by when you are in trouble.  You can't let it bother you, and it helps to fly with a squad who will look out for each other.

When I see a one on one, I stay high over the fight and only come in if my countryman gets into trouble.  But then I started in AW DOS, and things were much different then  :)

It is also best to look for areas with even fights, you see less gang banging.  If there are few enemys, go someplace else, or jump on the pile.

KdF,

In the MA anything goes, there are no rules, gentleman's or otherwise.  The only thing frowned upon is stealing a kill by swooping in and blasting a plane that is already dead.  Follow the advice given above and you will enjoy the MA and no doubt learn the ropes quickly too.

I'm fairly new to AH and know what you mean about the ganging thing (caused me to log several times allready), but some of the reason I think I notice it here more is in AW I knew the spots on the map to intercept peep's on the way to and from the big furballs and I imagine the same will happen here eventually.

KDF - the MA is full of gangbanging dweeb gotta get a kill message in the text buffer loser muther chucker try-hard kill stealing bastards!!!!

Other then that they're a good bunch o guys.  You could try talking to them, something like "please big red wave on my 6 don't kill me" kinda thing but that wont work.

I think your main problem is the P51 dweebster plane you are flying, you see most P51 Runstank dweebs use the run-really-really-fast@28k ACM so they don't have the problem you are having.

Try this P51 dweeb code:

int main()
{

take_P51_28K();
fly_to_furball();
find_enemy_plane();

if(enemyplane() == damaged && enemyplane() == lower && no_threat_exists())
{

while(no_threat_exists() && enemy_plane_damaged())
{
dive_on_enemyplane();
spray_n_pray_from_1k();
zoom_to_28k();
}
}
else
run_to_base_ack();

return TO_BASE;
}

err yeah, code should be compiled with P51DweebHackPro Ver 1.33T and then linked into AH.EXE with the -D and -L switches.

Enjoy

I'll vouch for KdF as not the kind of person who would fly that algorithm   ;) If anyone can fight a Pony like a Hellcat KdF is the one.

<S> and welcome to AH
