Something Foul in the CT...
« on: June 27, 2002, 10:37:33 PM »
...well not really.  Made ya look though didn't I? :)

All!

For the last three nights in a row, at exactly 11:30 pm I have disco'd from the CT.  I run ZoneAlarm Pro and checked the logs and sure enough it blocked a packet sent from a spoofed IP.  I don't know enough about this stuff to determine what it is, however, for now I will surmize that it is my wife who is out of town this week ending my fun to make sure I hit the sack at a decent hour. :)

Too bad, we were having a great fight with VF-27 for about 15 minutes above 25K.

Salute guys, we'll see you next time.

Went higher than that Chanter! I was at 35K at one time! GEEZEE you bunch of "ALT-MONKEYS!" The air was so thin my Seafire would barely answer the contols.

Weirdest dogfight I was ever in! Spiraled UP from 15K to 35K! LOL!

Hehe,

Knowing how well (not) Spit Vs perform over 25K, we decided that's where we'd take our mighty Navalised 109s to fight you guys.  We spent pretty much the entire time spiral climbing you, having one of our guys make a pass, rinse repeat.  Sure was some great flying by you guys.  I only managed one "solid" squeeze into a spit that was trying to climb up to miska (our resident 109 specialist) but it wasn't enough to damage (I think.)  I disco'd immediately after that.

I'll agree though, very rarely will you find a dogfight start at 20K and progress up to 30K...very enjoyable.  My wife returns today, maybe my connections will remain solid from this point on. :)

Was a HELL of a fight. I think we got one of yours and I believe you damaged one of ours.

The Seafire you were "danceing" with was ME. Got one burst off at you but don't know if I did any damage.

Was on your 6 several times but couldn't close the range - my old Seafire was "Weezeeing" along at that alt. LOL!

You broke off (might have when you discoed) and as I couldn't close I broke the other way.

Was a wild one! Had a/c swirling all over the place.

guys.

P.S. You can have your Seafires back - will stay with our Kitty's. :D

Was a pleasure flying with and against you guys.  You are certainly a lively squad.  Here is a quick seminar on spiral climbing with 109s: Don't :)

The CT is my new home.  Hope to see you there often.
