The poor put-upon Rooks!

You know it, I know it, we Rooks get GB'd almost every single night.  Need proof? Check out these stats from Tour 6, as of 10:30 PM EDT on July 9:

Rook vs kni(gh)t:
The Rooks have 2416 kills and have been killed 2107 times against the Knights. (We're ahead!)    

Rook vs Bish(op):
The Rooks have 3602 kills and have been killed 3213 times against the Bishops. (Also ahead!)    

And a very interesting statistic that makes my case:

K vs. B:
The Bishops have 1642 kills and have been killed 1674 times against the Knights.  

My oh my, the fair Kni(gh)ts and Bish(op)s seem to prefer beating on us Rooks than on each other!  Surprise, surprise!  A word of advice- just give us the bases we want and go thrash each other for a while!    

Dear honorable Knights, care to help us beat on the Bish for a couple of days?

Failing that, saintly Bishops, will you help us fight the imperialist aggression currently visited upon us nightly by the Knits?

My never so humble opinion, rendered as a public disservice.

 What you are experiencing is the result of Rooks having higher numbers of players online than the other countrys lately. Until today they owned the majority of the map,we`re just taking back what is ours.

Yep.. Rooks usually have 40 players or so while Bish and Knights have around 20 each.

Could the difference be possibly due to the fact that JG2 is Rook this tour?  Nah....  

(Rooks also have had base 1 for most of this tour.  Everybody knows that having this base curses your team.   )

Everytime I logged on this week-end (which was quite a few hours) I subtracted the number of JG2 on in Rooks, and rooks still had the numbers.  No, JG2 switching to rook had no impact whatsoever on the numbers.

Ah, I was expecting some sort of comments like this, so this time I was prepared!

I think the start of Tour 6 was very unbalanced and it's just starting to level out.  It doesn't bother me in the slightest btw.

   

   

So, I think this is the reason why the Rooks have been 'gang-banged' though you could have made another side with the left overs!      (9pm ish, GMT)

We moved cause of unbalanced play , I think others did too . I might say that the Bishops have their toejam all in one bag , and we are having mucho fun  

Only sorry that we come up on our former team mates     . But thats life .

Don't we ever get tired of posting this "I'm sick of my side getting mobbed" type of post?

I was just in the MA, and Bishops were down to 10 pilots against 29 Knights and 34 Rooks. Yes, the Bishops were getting hunted- so what? Sometimes you know that the going is going to get tough- you accept that it is a game and don't go getting silly about whether you win or lose. The worst part about today isn't that the Bishops whined about being outnumbered (they didn't in anything I read on the buffer); it was that Bishops started yelling at each other. Man, nothing ruins the time like having 3 or 4 guys barking orders, calling people names, etc.

I finally stopped answering calls when one just droned on and on on country "where are the 17's? What alt are they? Are you sure? I don't see them. You are wrong. They aren't there. What needs defending? Why didn't you guys help me?"  Of course I was busy at the time trying to knock down those B17's, and rushed the job (therefore losing them both). I felt I was the only guy online with a map and eyeballs!    

I don't intend to make fun of anyone with the previous remarks, I only point out that when things are going badly, yelling at your side isn't the way to rally support (at least for me it isn't). It only gave me an overwhelming urge to switch sides and kill.

I always go where my wingleader (HangTime) goes and that is usually chosen by who he wants to kill. But when I am up alone I look at the buffer and see who is whining the most. They become my target and try to kill them. I look for the guys that think they are too good to get shot down or talkin trash! Not always but they are usually ROOKS! MORAL: DON"T WHINE!

The simple truth is that Bishland seems to attract those who like to fly and to fight.

We don't seem to have the "realtor pilots" that the other lands have in such numbers. "Let's take A15..great view and nice layout for a golf course community!"  "Great idea, Biff! Let's run it by the club officers and launch!"
