I once gunned for a Maverick..... don't know if it was his first day, but it was hilarious!  He kept knocking his engines off and almost crashing, just recovering and starting the engines again in time, and even made it to bomb his target.  We were eventually shot down, but I was laughing so much, and don't know how we survived as long as we did.....  :D
