Maybe HTC should put in radio transmission shacks near airfields. Bomb the shack and country channel is disabled to those in the area.. "communications down" woo hoo hoo.

A persistant .squelch would be great, for either player names or channels. Pretty easy to do too as its just a text file load at log-in, very common with all online games...and _very_ handy.

gawd yes..... I listened to some moron go on all night about acm.. He was telling guys what to do step by step... He was also flying a lag7. How much acm you gotta know to keep the nose pointed at the enemy in a lag7? I have all the local stuff turned down so that they can't hear me but I still gotta hear them.

I hve NEVER found the rantings of the locals of any help whatsoever. I do like the check six feature but hate the local voice. Why can't we just turn it off?

Above all we NEED a permanent squelch list. I've run outa extra buttons to program names into...am I going to have to get some new gear just so I can easily squelch the verbal diarrhea from some of these yahoos?

I find 2 to be useful very rarely. All I really need from my countrymen is 6 calls. If I want to chat I'll use Ch1. And I don't want to read all the lil Napoleons calling for goons here or buffs there.

We need .vsquelch for these also. And the MOL certainly needs .squelch 4 and .vsquelch 4.
